If I even have maybe made a bit too much of Mr. Gray’s heritage, rest assured that I only introduced it up as a result of I felt that he would have an affinity for this music, just as Czech or Hungarian conductors typically have the right feel for their native composers. I would most assuredly like to hear to Gray conduct different works, hopefully some modern ones…but then once more, I’m at all times hoping that conductors nowadays would program more trendy music!
